Dr. James E Mauldin Jr and his wife Maureen Mauldin

Dr. James E. Mauldin, Jr, MD

Dr. Mauldin is a graduate of Baylor University and the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Completing his OB/GYN residency at the Texas Medical Center in 1985, he was a board-certified obstetrician gynecologist until 2017. Dr. Mauldin, and his wife Maureen have five children and have lived in Longview for over 30 years.

Dr. Mauldin has over three decades of experience in hormone management, with female patients since 1985 and male patients beginning in 2012. A long-time prescriber of compounded, bio identical hormone therapy, his interest in the treatment of testosterone deficiency in both men and women begin with his introduction to the BioTE pellet method (originally Sottopelle) in early 2012.

Our Mission

Dr. James Mauldin’s Center for Balance and Wellness is devoted to helping our patients improve their health and well-being through diagnosis and treatment of hormone deficiencies as well as identification and improvement of daily lifestyle choices that cause disease and impairment.
